On Wednesday, March 13, financial administration agents organized a sit-in in front of the Ministry of Finance in the Gombe district, demanding payment of four months' worth of their retrocession bonuses.

They stated that their claim corresponds to 10% of all revenues mobilized during that period.

"If we are here, it is to claim so that we can find a favorable outcome regarding our demands," explained the strikers.

Among them are particularly those from the Ministry of Mines, the Environment, PTNTIC, Hydrocarbons, Urban Planning, and others.

According to a statement from the Director of the Minister of Finance's cabinet, this payment delay is due, among other things, to the computerization of the financial law of 2024.

This situation led to the closure of the public expenditure chain during the past month of January and causes a delay in the issuance of ordering files.
