Madame Prisca Luanda Kamala, advisor to the military governor in charge of education, stated that the funds have already been released. "It has been found that the entire population of North Kivu is socially displaced. There are displaced people both in camps and in host families," and that advocacy had been conducted beforehand with the head of state to come to the aid of the populace, already suffering from armed conflicts, she indicated.

And it is with satisfaction that the provincial governor received the message confirming the disbursement of funds, she added. Regarding parents who have already paid all these fees, the governor's advisor confirmed that they will all be reimbursed. "We will send a note to the schools so they execute the order and refund the money to the parents," she specified.

Moreover, she asked schools to no longer charge fees for the administration of these tests. However, it should be noted that the trunks containing the copies of the exam papers for the off-session of the state examination, edition 2024, are already in Goma, the capital of North Kivu province, and that the tests will begin in early May.
