It should be noted that the draw for this championship for the Eastern zone took place on Friday, April 26, 2024, in Goma, in North Kivu, in the presence of Mrs. Chantal Nzey Kitenge, the secretary of the National Women's Football League (LINAFF).

This edition is placed under the theme of peace, she announced. For her, this edition is dedicated to the displaced women victims of war in North Kivu. "We place this competition under the sign of peace, we will dedicate this edition to our displaced sisters from Bulengo, to the displaced from everywhere, and to our brothers and sisters who have fallen victim to this barbarity; we dedicate this edition to them," she stated.

There are 32 teams eagerly engaged in this competition, which will be played in three development zones, namely: the Western Zone in Kinshasa, the Center-South Zone in Lubumbashi, and the Eastern Zone in Goma.
