These elections will take place on May 26 in the provinces of Mai-Ndombe and Nord-Kivu, and the elections for governors and deputy governors are scheduled for June 1 of the current year in Mai-Ndombe. The Offices for Reception and Processing of Applications (BRTC) will be open from April 6 to 20 for the electoral constituencies of Kwamouth in the province of Mai-Ndombe, Rutshuru, and Masisi in the province of Nord-Kivu, following the decision of the Constitutional Court to extend the terms of the deputies elected in these constituencies.

As for the provisional lists of candidates for the position of governor and deputy governor for the province of Mai-Ndombe, they will be published on May 2, 2024. From May 3 to 11, the period will be dedicated to the dispute of candidacies in the same province. According to the CENI, the final lists of senatorial candidates in both provinces, as well as those of the governor and his deputy in the province of Mai-Ndombe, will be published on May 19, noting that the election of the governor and deputy governor of Nord-Kivu, being under the state of siege regime, will be organized as soon as security conditions permit.

Regarding the resumption of legislative and provincial elections in the electoral constituencies of Masimanimba in the province of Kwilu and Yakoma in the province of Nord-Ubangi, a schedule will be readjusted and made public later, we learn from the electoral commission.
