I came to Mbuji-Mayi, which is my city, to conclude the activities related to the month of March dedicated to defending women's rights. We officially launched the activities on February 15 in Kinshasa by organizing marches for peace, security, and solidarity with our fellow citizens from the East, with women victims of atrocities in the different provinces of our country, and in support of the President of the Republic, Head of State, in view of restoring the territorial integrity of the DRC," stated Minister Mireille Masangu Bibi Muloko.

The governor of the Eastern Kasai province, Ananias Muzadi Kakonde, did not fail to address a word to the Minister of Gender. "I salute the presence of the national Gender authority in our province. She has done us the honor of coming to conclude the activities of the women's rights month here in Mbuji-Mayi, because the Eastern Kasai woman, through this visit, will benefit from many good things, including consolation, experience sharing, and she will have the opportunity to have a mentor and also networking. The Eastern Kasai women are joyful, and through my voice, we welcome Her Excellency and we will accompany her until the success of this event," he declared.

It is worth recalling that the 2024 International Women's Rights Day was celebrated under the international theme: "Investing in favor of women: accelerating the pace." And on the national level, the theme was: "Increasing necessary resources for women and girls, in peace for an equal Congo."
