Speaking during the press briefing on April 3, 2024, on "positive masculinity in DRC: progress recorded and perspectives in the sectors of education, health, and the empowerment of Congolese women," Eve Bazaiba lamented the fact that the media does not highlight the capabilities of Congolese women in information processing, but rather focuses more on stereotypes and related discrimination.

"We are not asking for women to be treated differently, but we ask that the media add a dose of ethics and professionalism in processing information when it comes to women by propelling their real skills so as to allow young girls to create models of leadership and emerge as well." she made known.

Furthermore, Minister Eve Bazaiba firmly emphasizes that after the appointment of Judith Suminwa Tuluka as the first female head of government in the DRC, the next step in the fight by women would concern the content of the presence of women in decision-making bodies.
