The company Transco received from the government, represented by its Minister of Transport, Marc Ekila, during a ceremony held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, a batch of 10 new Mercedes buses made in the DRC.

These buses constitute the 2nd batch, that is, 31 buses out of the 230 expected, within the framework of a partnership between the central government and the company Supreme automobile, established in the Congolese capital, explained the CEO of this company, Jean-Claude Kalala.

In turn inviting the workers of the Transco company to maintain these buses as a good head of the family would, Marc Ekila further noted: "No one believed that we could assemble buses here. Here we have received the first batch despite the difficulties we encounter, and we try to overcome them together. I have ridden onboard and I can guarantee the Congolese population that these buses are of very good quality, both technically and mechanically. We urge the population to take these buses. They have agreed to receive 10 to 12 buses monthly in order to be able to transport the population under good conditions."
