The Director of the National Fund for Social Promotion and Service (FNPSS), Alice Mirimo stated, on Friday, December 15th, that she has delivered medical and orthopedic kits to no less than 7 hospital establishments in Kinshasa.

She mentioned this during the evaluation meeting for the partnership between her institution and the American NGO Project Cure, which donated this equipment.

According to Alice Mirimo, these orthopedic medical instrument kits have been distributed to, among others, the Reference Hospital of Makala, the Kalembe-Lembe Pediatric Hospital, and other private hospitals.

"To this day, we have already totaled ten containers, seven of which have been delivered to hospitals including the Reference Hospital of Makala, the Kalembe-Lembe Pediatric Hospital, and other even private hospitals organized as NGOs with technical platforms, allowing vulnerable people to have access to health," she emphasized.

Alice Mirimo announced the distribution next week of the medical and orthopedic kits to the Center for the Physically Disabled, the Mother and Child Center of Bumbu, the Kazy Center of Matete, in Kinshasa.

"For us, it is a feeling of joy. We have come to report back to the Minister of Health after receiving instructions from the Minister of Social Affairs, who is leading this process very skillfully," the Director-General of the FNPSS concluded.
