Civil society actors announced on Monday, December 11 in Kinshasa, the establishment of a good offices mission with the electoral process stakeholders for an urgent signing of a commitment to peace and national cohesion before, during, and after the elections.
They made the announcement during a press conference.
According to the statement read by the national coordinator of the Center for Resources and Dynamization of Civil Society (CERDYSOC,) the civil society initiative group has planned several activities as part of this campaign.
“Launching a campaign to promote national cohesion, during and beyond the ongoing electoral process; setting up a good offices mission with the stakeholders in the process for the urgent signing of a commitment to peace and national cohesion, before, during, and after the elections,” are the actions of this campaign.
