According to the Ministry of Primary, Secondary and Technical Education (EPST), this recruitment system for teachers and promotion of primary school principals, based on merit, aims to improve access and quality of learning and to strengthen the governance of the Congolese educational system.
This is a commitment from Minister Tony Mwaba, with the goal of effectively ensuring the sustainability of the policy of free primary education which has been decreed since 2019 and, in alignment with the Educational and Training Sector Strategy (SSEF) 2016-2025.
Therefore, stakeholders operating in this sub-sector of the EPST are called to mobilize with their relevant contributions and to lend strong support for the success of this important reform in favor of the Congolese child, who is the future of our Nation.
It should be noted that the pilot phase of this recruitment process concerns 3 pilot provinces, Kinshasa, Kongo Central, and Kasai Central.
