CENI: Masisi, Rutshuru, Kwamouth... are reinstated in the electoral process.

As proof, in its revised calendar made public on January 31st, the CENI has taken into account not only the constituencies still in insecurity: Masisi, Rutshuru - both in North Kivu - and Kwamouth in Maï-Ndombe; but also those districts where national and provincial legislative elections were cancelled due to candidates engaging in fraud. 

Yakoma (North Ubangi) and Masi-Manimba (Kwilu) fall into this category. In the revised CENI calendar, the national and provincial legislative elections are scheduled to take place on April 28th in Yakoma and Masi-Manimba. 

The same elections will be organized in Masisi, Rutshuru and Kwamouth on October 5th, 2024.
