The national coach of the DR Congo, Sébastien Désarbre, started Gael Kakuta on Wednesday, February 7th, who has been off the field due to an injury.

This was for the DR Congo vs Ivory Coast match, which was part of the semi-finals of the 2023 African Cup of Nations at the Ebimpe stadium in Abidjan.

Playing for Amiens SC (France), Gael Kakuta intends to lead the DR Congo's attack, which needs to score and win this match.

Sébastien Désarbre also launched Cédric Bakambu, Yoane Wissa, and Meschack Elia on the offensive.

The Congolese defense will be led by Chancel Mbemba, Arthur Maswaku, and Gédéon Kalulu, while the midfield will be occupied by Charles Pickel and Samuel Moutousamy.
