Four experts from the GPVLF animated this conference. They were the honorary minister, Ms. Marie Louise Mwange, Grâce Ngyke Kangundu, Anne Jacquie Kitoga, and Beleive Munoki. These women leaders shared their expertise and insights on the challenges and opportunities that women entrepreneurs face in the DRC.

The experts highlighted the importance for women to know the legal framework related to entrepreneurship; to apply in tenders and to comply with the requirements of Congolese law. They also encouraged women to take specific training in entrepreneurship to strengthen their skills.

The GPVLF called on banks to facilitate the financing mechanism for female entrepreneurs, by offering reasonable repayment rates. Additionally, partners were invited to establish an exchange platform between different generations of women entrepreneurs to encourage mentorship and experience sharing.

Finally, a call was launched to the Congolese state to put in place specific relief measures to support young female entrepreneurs, recognizing their essential role in the economic and social development of the country.

This morning of exchange and sharing was a success, marking an important step in the promotion and support of female entrepreneurship in the DRC. The GPVLF will continue to work to create a favorable environment for the flourishing of women entrepreneurs, by highlighting their leadership and their ability to innovate and contribute to the sustainable development of the DRC.
