"Those who trust in the Lord renew their strength.
This is the meaning of the prayer initiative that I participated in today on behalf of our country and the people of North Kivu who are facing the torment of Rwanda's war of aggression.
Our thoughts go out to the victims of this barbarity and their families. Let us pray that the Lord may comfort and support the saddened hearts. Thank you to my sister Liliane Bemba who had this initiative and to all the brave women who took part in this prayer meeting for the nation," said the first lady on her Twitter account.
It should be noted that the DRC, particularly the East, is faced with a war of aggression imposed by the M23 rebels supported by Rwanda.
There have been several deaths including women and children.
