The congolese Head of State, Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi, received in audience, Thursday December 3, at Palais de la Nation, the president of the Commission of the African Union (AU), Tchadien Moussa Faki Mahamat.

During this meeting, Moussa Faki Mahamat confirmed to the president of the Republic that he will chair, as expected, at the head of the AU, next year, more precisely in February. He will be at the time of the ordinary General meeting of the panafrican organization in Addis-Abeba, in Ethiopia, where its seat is.

Felix Tshisekedi who is currently a first Vice-president of the AU is going to succeed to South-African Cyril Ramaphosa. He will thus be the congolese second president to occupy the revolving presidency of the largest African organization after Joseph-Désiré Mobutu in 1967.
