The international Federation of football association (FIFA) issued Thursday September 17 its monthly classification of the nations of football.

In Africa, one observes a consecutive statu quo with the absence of the international meetings since November 2019. A situation explained by the pandemia of Covid-19 which prevented nations from playing and even caused the postponement of the competitions like the eliminating heats of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) or the final phase of the Africa Championship of Nations (CHAN).

Thus, the DRC keeps its tenth continental place in a classification always dominated by Senegal, follow-up by Tunisia and Nigeria. Over the world, the country points at 57th place.

The next friendly matches planned in November certainly will move certain lines in this classification. The DRC will play on November 13 to Rabat against the Moroccan selection.
