The Lower House of the Parliament validated the official report sanctioning the election of Ronsard Malonda Ngimbi as delegate religious confessions to the independent national electoral Commission (CENI). Thus, Ronsard Malonda succeeds Corneille Nangaa, the outgoing president of this institution of support to the democracy. This ratification intervenes after three weeks of the tensions between the religious tandem Catholic-ECC and the six other confessions, namely: the awakening church, Salvation Army, Orthodoxy Church, Union of the independent churches of Congo, Kimbanguiste Church. The Catholic-ECC tandem sulks the designation of this new president whereas the remainder of these churches voted for Malonda.
Meanwhile, the supports for the new president of the CENI flow… At the office of the president of the National Assembly, Jeanine Mabunda, a group of deputies of Kongo central was received. These deputies bring a support without fault to Ronsard Malonda. Modero Nsimba, spokesman of the group of the deputies of Kongo central, denounces a campaign of diabolization against this "worthy son" of Kongo central.
"We were received by Mrs. Mabunda to speak about the process of designation of the president of the CENI and that we followed the deposit of the statement of the religious confessions which chosen one of ours of Kongo central in the person of Ronsard Malonda like winning candidate of this choice of the civil society", declared in the press. Before continuing: "We come to express our support compared to his designation and we come to denounce the campaign of diabolization, hatred and discrimination as undergone one of ours which is a son of Kongo central, an enthusiastic Christian and who was designated according to procedures defined by the organic law on the CENI."
For Modero Nsimba, there are tribalo-ethic attacks directed against Ronsard Malonda. "We come to denounce tribalo-ethnic attacks with respect to a Ne Kongo son who is a house son. He occupied neither the post of president of the CENI, nor the station of member of the office, less still a member of plenary of the CENI. It is a technician with the service of his nation ", he ensured. Modero Nsimba thinks that the new president of the CENI is sufficiently ran in to assume such tasks.
He regrets the fact that his image is badly sold with the opinion whereas he did not even form part of the office of the CENI, even less member of plenary. "He followed a lot of formations and he was candidate who worked with the last administration. But today, the way in which one sells his name, the way which one presents him by thinking that he was the president of the outgoing committee of the CENI and let us denounce it. Because we carry the voices of Kongo central including our bishops. In particular, the bishop of the diocese of Boma where Ronsard Malonda is a native", let know this spokesman of Kongo central deputy.
This member of Parliament did not fail to scratch the Catholic and Protestant churches, two confessions which are sulk their champion. "We are facing bad losers who lost vis-a-vis other confessions", he said.
Estimating that instead of giving up and asking the other organizations such as political and component parties belonging to plenary of the CENI to propose their candidates, in particular while asking the opposition to focus itself on the choice of the future reporter of the CENI and the FCC to focus itself on the choice of the vice-president of the CENI, "they wants to bring us on practices which would be likely to create a slip."
