In a Decree signed saturday March 21, 2020, the governor of Kinshasa, Gentiny Ngobila announces severe fines against any entity or commercial, private or public structure which will not respect the measures of president Felix Tshisekedi relating to the response against the coronavirus.

In his official statement, the number one of the congolese capital points out that the Transco, Espritde vie as well as New Transkin buses will pay a fine ranging between 100 thousand to 500 thousand FC if they transport more than 20 passengers (Big bus Transco) or more than 16 passengers (Esprit de vie and New Transkin).

A fine of 80 thousand to 250 thousand FC for the mini-buses which transported more than 10 passengers, for the taxi which would transport more than three passengers, a fine going from 60 to 200 thousand FC.

Let us announce that these decisions of the governor aim at the drivers as well ensuring the personnel transport t in the public and private sector.
