The announcement of January 30 of the strike of the doctors gathered within the trade union of the doctors of Congo(Symeco) was made during a press conference held at the Symeco seat in Kinshasa, January 29, 2019.
For this trade union, the agreements resulting from the exchanges with the government are only of good intentions which cannot be translated into formal engagements.
As from Thursday January 30 at 8 hours, the doctors gathered within Symeco promise to observe a strike with minimum service, specified the trade union of the doctors brought together within Symeco.
It declines thereafter the responsibility for any consequence which would result from this.
Indeed, the doctors of Symeco had submitted a schedule of conditions near the government of the Republic since October 9, 2019 which has in the mission under statute of the doctors news units, promotion with the rank, the working conditions, the continues formation and the formation in the course of employment.
It is thus financial aspects in particular the specific basic salary of the doctor, the unpaid of doctors formerly wrongfully blocked, enumerated the Secretary-general of Symeco
Dr. Juvenal Muanda also mentioned dissatisfaction of the doctors on the essential question of the professional tax about the income.
It was necessary that the government answers in urgency general precariousness by the application of Ipr. This question was not finished as well compared to the height of the small amount which could be granted to the doctors as the expiry of its granting- he underlined.
