A passenger who requested anonymity reported a plane from the UN Observer Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo that was linking Monday between Goma and Bukavu but missed the airstrip at 14 hours, local time.

The plane had on board about ten passengers, the witness explained, before adding that the aircraft turned back to Goma, city of its origin, to miraculously land there.

According to this passenger, the crew members decided to inform the passengers that the aircraft got some technical problems. The fear in the plane was at its height.

And to add that in Goma, the Beech-Craft blocking the runway has disrupted the programs of some airlines that should either take off or land their aircraft before evacuating.

As a reminder, another plane of the Monusco, still of Beach Craft brand had missed its landing and ended its race on Wednesday, September 28 at Mavivi airport in Beni. This aircraft had on board eight passengers and the crew members. It came from Goma and went to Bunia, via the city of Beni. According to the airport sources, there is no loss of human life and the plane was not totally damaged.
