In Kinshasa, as everywhere else, across the country, conscientious parents are already feeling the wear and tear that the school re-entry season, with its various tensions, is going to have on everyone's nerves.

This comeback is announced with acuity. She is jumping up and the parents are far from being ready. The problem: it's all the concentration on the purchase of (school) supplies. All these school materials are also far from free: uniforms, shoes, school bags, bags, packs of notebooks, aprons for toddlers in kindergarten ... the list is not exhaustive.

So despite the obstacles listed within two weeks of the resumption of courses, the crowd in front of the sales stands cannot be more impressive. And yet, only one week, almost, separates the parents from this autumn.

It is to recognize that from August to October, the stress has deepened. Parents are not yet near, for the most part, to get the supplies for their children.

Between the inscriptions, the school supplies and the uniforms to buy or sew, the return presents itself to the parents as a budgetary challenge.

If for more than a month the sellers of school supplies have already been preparing to welcome customers, it is on the eve that the affluence will take a momentum a little more remarkable.
