A delegation of Congolese women has been participating since Monday, March 11, in New York, United States, in the 68th session of the United Nations on the status of women.
These sessions, which will close on March 22, 2024, bring together women from all over the world and are held under the theme: "Investing in women: accelerating the pace."
In Kinshasa, several activities are organized as part of Women's Month. On Friday, March 8, Kinshasa women participated, at the initiative of the Ministry of Gender and Family, in a service to remember the victims of atrocities in the East, organized by the Ministry of Gender and Family. They were dressed in black as a sign of mourning in memory of the victims of these atrocities.
