Drinking water remains an urgent need for the population of Bukavu. It has been since last Thursday that a breakdown occurred on a REGIDESO water pipe that passes by the hill overlooking Wima Janvier high school.
It is yet another breakdown that has just paralyzed traffic on the National Road number 2 at the location commonly known as Yesu yesu, not far from Wima high school, reported Actu30.
It is worth noting that REGIDESO, which always mentions technical difficulties, has promised that drinking water will be restored imminently. For the moment, the residents of these neighborhoods are eagerly awaiting action from the new local authorities in order to restore drinking water, a rare but essential commodity for the well-being of the population.
