The fundraising campaign for war-displaced individuals continued on Tuesday, March 12, in the city and territory of Uvira, South Kivu Province.

This campaign, which was launched on Monday, March 8, will last until Friday, March 15, at the end of which a delegation of women from Uvira, who sympathize with the compatriots from Goma, will proceed with the distribution of these donations.

These items include 25 kg bags of corn flour, 25 kg bags of salt, pieces of wax print cloth, empty jerrycans, tarpaulins, cartons of soap, etc.

Initiated by women human rights defenders from Uvira, this campaign was launched on the occasion of the International Women's Rights Day at the Uvira Unity Stadium.

On this occasion, they emphasized that their meeting aimed to advocate for peace in the eastern part of the country and to collect donations to assist the victims of war, most of whom are women and children.
