"The Minister of Youth, Dr. Yves Bunkulu has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korean firm Startup for the creation of an electric motorcycle factory," announces a communiqué from the Ministry of Youth.

The same source adds that this initiative will also enable the development of initiatives in the field of agri-food, provide more than 3,000 electric motorcycles to support the agricultural brigades of the ministry and the training of young people.

Minister Yves Bunkulu Zola expressed satisfaction with the successful outcome of this project which awaits the stage of materialization and has expressed willingness to work on several other projects, thereby encouraging this partnership which aligns with the vision of the Head of State who has made agriculture a priority and wants young people to work efficiently.

According to this government official, "The DRC spends more than one billion US dollars on the import of food products. The various initiatives of the Ministry of Youth offer opportunities for all those who would want to venture into one sector or another, even that of transportation with electric motorcycles."

The DRC, he pointed out, has more than 60 million young people, thus constituting a large market and also an opportunity. With 232 agricultural centers, the need for partners is significant and immense.

For his part, the head of Startup International, Park Man Il, thanked the Congolese minister for the welcome and praised the fruition of this partnership.
