The First Lady of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi, has dispatched a team to make a gesture of solidarity and financial support to the family of the illustrious deceased.
In accordance with the wishes of the family, members of the foundation (DNT) have discussed the organization of the repatriation of the body to Kinshasa and the funeral arrangements, with the aim of honoring the memory of this Congolese artist.
"We would like to inform the actor-comedians that a delegation from the Denise Nyakeru Foundation, along with members of the National Association of Popular Theater and Cinema (Antpc), NTPC, visited the family of the artist Giani Fay, who passed away on March 11 in Paris, to inform them that the First Lady of the Democratic Republic of Congo has agreed to contribute through her foundation to the repatriation of the artist's remains," Ndungi Mambimbi, president of the Antpc, stated to the press.
He added: "We would like to thank, on behalf of all the actor-comedians, the First Lady, Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi, the wife of the President of the Republic for this action of solidarity and generosity."
It should be noted that the Congolese actor-comedian, Djany Fay MUZELA, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 in Paris, capital of the French Republic.
