If a woman is the bearer of life, why not of HOPE...if a woman can feed her household while going without, why not her CITY; if a woman can live solely for her children, why not for HER PEOPLE... My thoughts are with the women of Eastern DRC—resilient, brave, and enduring, they have experienced it all: rape, massacres, war, famine, isolation, humiliation, domination, the list goes on, for more than 20 years, but they are still there, continuing to stand out, make a difference, and fight for a better world around them," stated Acacia Bandubola.
