The constituents of Deputy Elysée Ichwama Litoka ma Elly are no longer visibly inclined to break the bond of the participatory democracy consolidated during the December 2023 legislative elections. On this day of March 8, 2024, recent messages from the eleven sectors and chiefdoms grouped in the Opala electoral district have resonated with the vision of their elected representative. Namely, to mobilize citizens around a cooperation capable of proposing innovative solutions to problems related to infrastructure projects to better meet the aspirations of all.

In the territory of Opala, transparency is now the norm. Her numerous achievements in the territory even before her election to the national assembly are undeniable. This is the case concerning the rehabilitation of several basic infrastructures and the lighting of the cities of this region, including Yatolema, thanks to a renewable energy system, which are no longer to be proved. All to the great satisfaction of the majority of the inhabitants of the territory.

They have been full of praise in presenting their wishes for full success to the one who has become their representative at the national level. "We encourage her and remain grateful for her field actions related to the transformation of our long-neglected territory," were among the recent reactions of the youth who echoed the commitment of Opala's elected representative who is inscribed in a process of transformation and development of this territory.

Already, in the Lobaïe, Tooli, Yawende Loolo, Iye, Balinga-Lindja sectors and chiefdoms such as Yeyango, Yapandu, Yomaïe, Yalingo, Mongo, and Kembe, the only name cited after the publication of the results is always that of Élysée Ichwama. "Ma Elly or nothing. A new kind of leadership has just emerged among us. She is one of the now known figures of the national political agora who have made their way into the assembly.

Even more so, this leadership has become an incentive for the inhabitants to insist firmly on her name. Elysée Ichwama is the name that embodies the deepest and most legitimate aspirations of today's Bambole community. "We recognize here her abilities and skills to face the socioeconomic ideal in order to solve certain problems posed in our territory and her involvement in a momentum of development of the province in various fields of local life: agriculture, education, roads, household, schools, etc.," indicated the youth from the "Bambole" community located in Kinshasa.

These have not hesitated to castigate in the process the absence, the weakness of all the previous elected officials of Opala, men as they may be, who have accomplished no social action in favor of the Congolese of this part of the Republic. The people, nevertheless no longer fooled by manipulative acts, ingenious and knowing the ins and outs and weighing the words of each candidate, have decided differently.

These sanction elections, moreover, speak volumes. The voters were able to oppose a categorical no to the multiple demagogic solicitations and propositions made during the full electoral campaign before December 20, 2023. In previous legislatures, Opala's elected officials took malicious pleasure in locking themselves in their ivory tower, remaining in a logic of singularity, and today, they have found themselves in disarray. Their lack of seriousness has turned the incense burner of ridicule against them, and as a consequence, they have been far from deserving the prestigious title of honorable.

For her part, the honorable Élysée ICHWAMA LITOKA Ma Elly stood out among the 26 best elected deputies of the DRC with 19,103 expressed votes. A member of the Alliance of Democratic Forces of Congo (AFDC-A), she succeeded in breaking the record for the number of votes for her election. With 19,103 votes, she ultimately became the best-elected deputy of the entire Tshopo province.

Furthermore, she climbed to the top of the podium with the other 25 candidates displayed on the list of the best elected from the national legislative elections of December 20, 2023. This new elected official, devoted to the cause of the people, who defied the political gravity of a whole province to impose a new perspective on women's leadership on the political scene, with results achieved for her party, did not fail to arouse the admiration of her moral authority. 61 women out of a total of 477 national deputies elected in the elections of December 20, 2023, are now sitting at the National Assembly during this fourth legislature.

Hereafter are the elected deputies representing the six respective territories of the Tshopo province. Élysée Ichwama Litoka Ma Elly (Opala), Masanga Kisigayi Etienne (Ubundu), Kolongo Darwezi Eli (Ubundu), Paul-Gaspar Ngonda Nkoy (Yahuma), Justin Nzama (Bafwasende), Fontaine Mangala (Kisangani), Maowa Akombeya Jean-Pierre (Kisangani), Théoveul Lotika (Kisangani), Laddy Yangotikala (Kisangani), Patrick Matata (Kisangani), Delveaux Bolila (Kisangani), Alu Assani Kabina (Banalia), Moleko Moliwa Anastazi (Basoko), Eve Bazaiba (Basoko), Maembo Gelingi Paulin (Isangi), Limengo Ikolonga Trésor (Isangi), Kitoko Lisombo Etienne (Isangi).
