On Sunday, March 10th, Tout-Puissant Mazembe played their first away game against As Dauphin Noir at the Unity Stadium in the city of Goma, North Kivu. In front of a curious crowd that came in large numbers and filled the stands to see what the famous TP Mazembe from Lumbumbashi would bring, the match did not entirely live up to expectations. The two teams parted ways without scoring any goals, resulting in a score of zero all. Thus, the Ravens let slip two points while the Black Dolphins secured their first point in two matches.

In Lubumbashi, the local team Lubumbashi Sports sank in front of AS Vita Club with a score of 2-0. Elie Mpanzu at the 2nd minute and Mpiana Mozinzi at the 33rd sealed the first victory for the Muscovites. Lubumbashi Sport, for its part, remains in difficulty: 7 goals conceded without scoring any in two matches.

On Saturday, March 9th, at the TP Mazembe Stadium in Lubumbashi, Cercle Sportif Don Bosco fell against AS Maniema Union. The Salesians conceded two goals on set pieces. Dieu Merci Lupuni at the 23rd minute and Ordy Simete at the 82nd minute are the scorers for Maniema Union, the only team to have won all its matches in two rounds.

In Kinshasa, the clash between Football Club Les Aigles du Congo and Football Club Saint Eloi Lupopo offered quite a show. The Cameroonian forward, a new recruit for the Eagles, was the first to score half an hour into the game. The defender and often scorer for the Lumpas, Ikoyo Iyembe, equalized at the 46th minute. Lupopo even took the lead thanks to Harvey Ossete at the 58th minute, concluding a superb team move. Just as the Railwaymen thought they had done enough, they had not counted on Dieu Merci Mukoko Amale, who from an out-of-nowhere center found Merveille Eyemba. The latter, after a fine leap, beat goalkeeper Yves Mukawa with a header (94th minute).

After the closure of the second day, it's already time for the third, this Wednesday and Thursday.
