Traffic is suspended between Bulungu and Kinshasa following the collapse on Monday, February 5, of the Kabangu bridge in Bulungu in the Kwilu province.
The collapse of this structure was caused by an overloaded large vehicle carrying fresh food from Kinshasa.
Faced with this situation, the population raises an alert to both the central and provincial governments for the rapid construction of this bridge with durable materials, as was done in 1953.
The population points out that all the materials for the new bridge are already available.
