The Kinshasa/Gombe Court of Appeal will rule on March 14 on the disputes over the results of the December 2023 provincial legislative elections in Kinshasa. The announcement was made on Monday, March 4, at the start of these contestation proceedings.

On the twenty-one cases listed for this first day are notably those from Gombe, Ngiri-Ngiri, Kintambo, Makala, and Lingwala.

The hearings will continue until March 8, starting at 9 am, with the distribution set according to the challenges by constituency.

The Kinshasa/Gombe Court of Appeal has already dealt with five cases for the Gombe commune, which has only one seat.

For its part, the Ceni has asked the Kinshasa/Gombe Court of Appeal to confirm the results in all the cases handled.
