National deputy Jean-Baptiste Muhindo Kasweka has requested, on Thursday, November 10, the interrogation of the Prime Minister concerning the worrying security situation in the East of the DRC from the plenary session.

The representative from North Kivu has, for this purpose, sent a letter on the same Thursday to the president of the office of the lower house of Parliament.

Jean-Baptiste Muhindo Kasweka expresses his deep concern about the ambiguity that there is, according to him, in the unilateral ceasefire and the government's preference for diplomatic solutions in the face of the M23's advancement and the worsening humanitarian situation:

Therefore, he has requested the interrogation of the Prime Minister in order to provide answers to the national representation about the evolution of the situation in North Kivu and Ituri.
