The delegation from FONAREV was led by its General Director, Lucien Lundula Lolatui, who personally handed over the food and non-food items to the deputy governor of North Kivu Province, who then distributed the packages to the concerned parties.

"We are committed to ensuring that all the help we provide actually reaches the victims of sexual violence in times of conflict and other crimes against peace and security of humanity, which explains our presence at the side of the victims from the eastern part of the country. We assure you that from now on, FONAREV will stand by victims who felt abandoned," said Lucien Lundula.

However, on the side of the beneficiaries, satisfied with this assistance, some have expressed words of gratitude.

"Without the help of FONAREV and the FDNT, our situation would have been catastrophic. They provided us with food and essential items that were vital for our survival," explained Mrs. Amina Mukombo, a resident of the internal displacement camp of Kanyarucinya.

"FONAREV and the FDNT were there for us when nobody else was. Their efforts have had a real impact on our community and we are very grateful to them," added Ngoy Kabila, another beneficiary from Minova.

FONAREV and the FDNT reaffirm their commitment to the victims of North Kivu and continue to work closely with local authorities and partner organizations to provide more effective and equitable humanitarian assistance.
