The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), represented by its Minister of Culture, Arts, and Heritage, has been appointed Vice-President of the World Conference on Cultural and Artistic Education of UNESCO, scheduled to take place from February 13 to 15 in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
It will witness the participation of governmental organizations, UNESCO networks, and other partners in the fields of Culture and Education, and aims to share innovative practices and ideas and to strengthen an alliance in this area.
On the occasion of this conference, the Ministers of Culture and Education will adopt a document named "Abu Dhabi Framework on Cultural and Artistic Education".
