On the sidelines of the celebration of the month dedicated to women, nearly two hundred African female entrepreneurs will gather in Brussels on the theme: "The Role of the African Diaspora in the Development of the African Continent".

During a conference held on Saturday, January 25th at the Teme Teme building with participants of this Forum, Ketsia Olangi revealed the objective of this forum to strengthen the ties between female entrepreneurs of the diaspora and African economic players to foster their collaboration and mutual contribution to the development of the continent.

Over two consecutive days, the proceedings will focus on plenary sessions, theme-based round tables, interactive workshops, and networking sessions. Mr. Désiré N’Zinga Birihanze, Minister of Entrepreneurship, Small and Medium Enterprises of the DRC, will perform the official opening of these sessions in front of some Belgian political authorities. The FOPAFE6 will also have two significant godmothers: Mrs. Lydia Mutyebele, alderwoman for housing, gender equality, opportunities, and public heritage in Brussels, and Mrs.

Gisèle Ndaya, former Minister of Gender, Family and Children in the DRC. As for the exhibition, a defined number of Congolese entrepreneurs partners of the ministry of Entrepreneurship, Small and Medium Enterprises, are selected based on some well-defined criteria. The NEHEMA Foundation works in collaboration with international NGOs, namely HANDICAP EUROPE -AFRIQUE and Nyota Africa based in Belgium and France. It is important to note that after the 5th edition of FOPAFE held in Côte d'Ivoire in 2023, the NEHEMA Foundation will organize this major event this year aimed at promoting Congolese Entrepreneurship to the diaspora in the city of Brussels, Belgium.
