In margin of the celebration of the international day of the woman, the president of the Republic Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo granted an audience to the delegation of "women" at Cité de l’Union Africaine.
During their talk, the Head of State promised to these ladies the improvement of the representation of the women within the government in order to move to the achievement of the man-woman parity within the institutions of the Republic.
During more than two hours, these women evaluated with the president of the republic several topics of which the protection of the women's rights in DRC, peace, safety, economy and the numerical.
"Te appointment of the women has strategic stations in the various institutions, in particular with the outgoing government including one vice Prime Minister and two ministers of States, it is an eloquent proof and a reason for pride for all the women" Mrs. Nicole Sulu declared, spokeswoman of this delegation
In addition, the Head of State was had to go with women as an enthusiastic defender of women's rights promotion.
