"WHO sent a fast team of answer to give its support where necessary. And thanks to the enormous capacity installation at the time of the last epidemic in DRC, the congolese provincial medical authorities has significant experience in the response to the virus and in the prevention of its transmission ", the boss of WHO, Tedros Adhanom declared, the talks relayed in the official statement of WHO.

For recall, for Sunday February 7, 2021, the ministry in charge of Health had announced the resurgence of a new case of this disease in the health zone of Biena, in Butembo. It was about a wife of a survivor of Ebola which expressed typical signs of the disease. And the samples taken little before her death were positive with the disease.
