During its last Council of Ministers held Friday July 17, 2020 by video conference, the government exercised the option to proceed to a progressive lifting of the emergency state as from this Tuesday July 21 until September 7.

However, the National Assembly, the deputies are always waiting for the urgently exit plan consecutive to the recommendations made at the time of the last plenary devoted at the medical urgently state and sent to the government.

According to the reporter of the National Assembly, a private bill putting an end to the emergency state was initiated by a deputy. However, if the government brings a bill relating to the end of the emergency state, it is that one which will be examined, indicated the reporter while specifying that now no bill was received by the office of the Lower House going in this way.

Among the motivations which underlie the option under consideration by the government to put an end to the emergency state, there is endemic which takes pandemia, the resumption of the activities in the world and the need for the revival of the activities in the country.

According to Dr. Muyembe, he does not exclude to proceed to a new confining in the event of a new blaze of the coronavirus.
