A tank truck and a house were burned in a fire that occurred Saturday afternoon at the Okapi gas station, located on de l'Ecole Avenue, not far from the Carrière de Grès (CARRIGRES) in Kinsuka Pêcheur District in the township of Ngaliema, ACP noted
The fire was provoked from a short circuit of the tanker that came to supply the station, witnesses said that the worst was avoided thanks to the courage and dexterity of the driver who did everything to keep away his vehicle from the station.
Unfortunately, the vehicle was abandoned near a building that was consumed despite the presence of a fire truck that came to the rescue. The driver of the tanker escaped with his hands burnt, it is reported.
