The company Transport in Congo is suffocated due to the lack of fuel and is requesting the intervention of the president of the Republic to carry out its activities of transporting the population since Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

A press release from the union delegation of this company confirms these facts by stating: "We request the personal involvement of the Head of State, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, guarantor of the proper functioning of the institutions, so that an urgent and lasting solution is found for the fuel supply, which has been out of stock for 48 hours."

Moreover, the union delegation of Transco is also urgently calling on the government to remedy the shortage, to allow this company to fulfill its mission of facilitating the mobility of the population.

Transco, Mme Bijou Mwange, the president of its union delegation reminds us, relies on subsidies for its operations, including cash balance and fuel for exploitation.

"It has been some time," she emphasizes, "that the cash subsidy has unfortunately stopped arriving, and to our great surprise, we have witnessed a break in the fuel subsidy for 48 hours."
