Jean-Claude Mvuemba and his political family Alliance des Bâtisseurs, allies of the People's Movement for the Republic (ABA/MPCR), have, through a statement read this Thursday, November 23, 2023, decided to support the candidacy of Moïse Katumbi for the presidency of the Republic.

"The political bureau of the MPCR in consultation with our platform ABA/MPCR, after reconsidering the current issues and analyzing the various societal projects of the candidates for the highest magistracy, has made a judicious choice to support the candidacy of Mr. Moïse Katumbi Chapwe, in the presidential election of December 20, 2023," declared Jean-Claude Vuemba.

This latter believes that Moïse Katumbi embodies the change so eagerly awaited by the Congolese people. For this reason, he calls for vigilance and unity "in order to propose a credible alternative to the Congolese people who are only waiting for the elections to express their choice."

Elected from the constituency of Kasangulu, provincial deputy Jean-Claude Mvuemba calls on the conscience of the Congolese youth to make a judicious choice for the future of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Mvuemba thus joins the first allies of Moïse Katumbi, including Augustin Matata Ponyo, Seth Kikuni Masudi, and Franck Diongo, all presidential candidates who have withdrawn and rallied to Moïse Katumbi's camp.
