Electoral campaign in Kindu: the PROVED ban against propaganda in schools

The director of the educational province Maniema I (PROVED), Mokito Kaunda Séraphin, has warned candidates in the elections that the school environment is not a place to campaign.

Mokito Kaunda Séraphin made this statement on Thursday, December 7, during a meeting with all the heads of institutions and school administrators in his educational province.

"I have insisted to all heads of institutions that the school space is not appropriate for politicians to come and spread their propaganda. I make a strong appeal to all politicians to leave our children alone; they should go and spread their propaganda everywhere except where there are schools," Mokito Kaunda proclaimed.

During this meeting, the PROVED conveyed some instructions from the hierarchy to the heads of institutions, particularly the respect of the school calendar, especially since the students will soon be going on vacation.

He also took the opportunity to introduce the new principal provincial inspector (IPP), Gabriel Wika Esala.
