The National Council of the ECIDé invites the National Office to demand a reduction in the lifestyle of the state's institutions, to reallocate resources towards security efforts and assistance to victims and displaced persons in the provinces of North Kivu, Ituri, and Mai-Ndombe.
"The National Council of the ECIDé invites the National Office to seek the involvement of the country's spiritual fathers, to facilitate discussions among the sons and daughters of the country, on the theme: 'Truth-Reconciliation-National Cohesion.' The aim is to counter the plans of balkanization, to put an end to the recurring political crises, and to give the country a chance to rebuild itself," the document reads.
And to continue: "The National Council of the ECIDé asks the National Office to mobilize Congolese men and women for national cohesion, by organizing large-scale events in the country and the diaspora, in order to affirm our determination to protect the country's territorial integrity."
