The Deputy Prime Minister, congolese minister in charge of Foreign Affairs, Christophe Lutundula Apala and his Angolan counterpart Tété Antonio agreed to set up as soon as possible and at the latest at the beginning of the next week, a joint team made up of Congolese and Angolan experts to go to the sources of the Kasaï and Tshikapa rivers which are in Angola.

The two personalities which were found in margin of the 41stSumit of the Heads of State and of government of the economic Community of the Southern Africa States (SADC) to Lilongwe (Malawi) evoked this file.

It has been for three weeks that water of these rivers has a reddish color, causing the death of many fish and even of other animals like the hippopotamus. In the same way, it is learned that several inhabitants who consumed fish died along these rivers are victims of the diarrhoea.

A few days ago, the researchers of University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN) drew an alarm bell on the risks of pollution of the rivers of the capital by the fact of this drama.
