The DRC was beaten (19-39) on Sunday 17 January by Denmark (1-0) within the framework of the second day of the World Cup of handball.

The Leopards which take part for the first time in these world hostilities did not make the weight facing the world champions in title which take first place of this D group with two victories in many exit, follow-up of Argentina, which beat the DRC in first day (28-22).

The DRC will buckle its matches of group with Bahreïn, semi-finalist of the Asia zone which is currently the red lantern.

The DRC is one of the seven African teams committed in this international competition.
