Minister in charge of Health, Eteni Longondo pointed out that the wearing of mask is compulsory as from this Monday April 20, 2020 in Kinshasa and encourages the population to make traditional masks to be protected of Covid-19. During a maintenance with Top Congo FM, last weekend, the minister Eteni Longondo stressed that the FARDC and the Police force will be go with the implementation of these measures.
On his side, the commander of the Police force of the town of Kinshasa, Sylvano Kasongo points out that these measures enacted by the authorities will be valid this Monday. But he ensures that the contraveners with this decision "will not be arrested".
In addition, the confining measures of the township of Gombe will be taken out progressively, only the supermarkets and the banks will be open to allow the inhabitants of this township to be supplied.
