"I think it was important that the President of the Republic be able to keep himself informed by the most authorized mouths in the matter; including the Minister of Finance, the Budget Minister and the Governor of the Central Bank, "said Kasongo Mwema, speaking of the meeting that Felix Tshisekedi had Monday with these officials.

He revealed that the budget of the presidency was managed in a stable way, according to the same source. "According to these specialists, stability is explained by the fact that there was actually a two-month deficit in January and March. But there was a surplus in February and April. And above all a surplus that revolves around 243 billion (Congolese francs) and which has therefore allowed to reduce all the deficits that have occurred in other months", Felix Tshisekedi’s spokesman concluded.
