Considering the Constitution, the Provisional Office has three missions to complete during the current extraordinary session. Namely: the validation of credentials, the drafting, the adoption of the Rules of Procedure (IR) and the election of the definitive Office. For the first point, the representatives of the people went beyond. Indeed, they created 8 special commissions composed of 4 senators and charged to analyze on a case by case, the files of the senators received of the CENI, before any validation by the plenary.

To complete this work, the 8 Special Commissions have 4 clear days to work and come finally to submit their conclusions to the plenary. This no later than next Monday- At the initiative of Senator Boshab Evariste, a heated debate took place to answer the question of whether in solidarity with the compatriots of Nord Kivu, particularly those of Butembo, Beni city and Beni territory where the election of senators will take place at the end of April, if there were no need to wait for these votes to validate the terms of the senators who will be elected in these constituencies, at the same time as their other colleagues already on site at Kinshasa.

They agreed to accomplish within the time limit the three subjects that the Constitution entrusted to the Provisional Office.
