"We have not only implemented certain strategies to reinforce security in the commune of Mulekera and its surroundings, but we have also continued to track down those who bolster the enemy's forces. That is to say, their collaborators," Captain Anthony Mwalushayi informed at the end of the said meeting.

According to him, the ADF wants to collaborate with certain traitors who are among the population and also among the security services, mentioning the arrest last Thursday of two collaborators who have helped the enemy make incursions and also kill the population.

"We are in the process of rooting all this out, so that we can start to arrest those who give strength to the enemy, to block the path of this enemy who continues to kill and massacre our population," he added.

For his part, the mayor of Beni convened all the urban security service leaders on Friday, April 19, 2024, which included: the military, the police, the intelligence services as well as associated security services who took part in this meeting to deliberate on the security situation, which is especially deteriorating in the western part of the town.
