«The premiership will rightfully return to the UDPS. The President of the Republic has reassured me. I told you that if you come back with a majority, I will give you the premiership. I ask you to be disciplined so that the Head of State gives us what he has promised», declared the General Secretary of the UDPS in front of the party's militants during this political morning organized Sunday, at the party headquarters.

The General Secretary of the UDPS had been designated by Félix Tshisekedi as the informer to identify the new majority within the National Assembly. After submitting his report, his mission was extended.

In the corridors, rumors about the name of Jean-Pierre Lihau are still circulating. This former member of the PPRD, the party of the former president Joseph Kabila, has even joined the UDPS. He was elected national deputy under the banner of the presidential party. This places him in a good position to occupy the office on Avenue Roi Baudouin, in Kinshasa. However, negotiations with other components of the presidential majority continue, before knowing the name of the rare bird for the premiership.
